sanctuary cities didn't seem to draw much interest in oakland. one activist said the meeting was for officials who already agree with the president's policy. >> they're only spreading fear, turning communities of color, minorities and immigrants into feeling that they're suspects. >> reporter: mr. trump also repeated his claim that sanctuary cities violate the law. then the president turned to attorney general jeff sessions and suggested oakland mayor libby schaaf be investigated for alerting the public about an impending i.c.e. raid. >> you talk about obstruction of justice, i would recommend that you rook into obstruction of justice for the mayor of oakland, california, jeff. she advises thousands of people. they're told, get out of here, law enforcement's coming, and you worked on that long and hard, and you got there, and there were very few people there. to me, that's obstruction of justice. >> reporter: libby schaaf who

she says when she refused to take them down, well, she ended up leaving school, just two and a half weeks before her graduation. these are just some of the photos 18-year-old nastachia posted on instagram. an avid fitness enthusiast says they show how she's transformed her body. but administrators told her some of the photos go too far. >> she said my pictures were deemed too inappropriate for my private catholic school on my own fitness account. >> reporter: she said the dean told her her instagram photos violated school policies and fave her a choice. take specific pictures down our be disenrolled. she decided to keep them up and was forced to leave school. >> i think they should have specified that bikini pictures, these types of pictures are not okay. therefore i would not have done them. >> reporter: one of her friends

started an online petition to stop the disenrollment. she says even though she won't be able to participate in graduation, she would still make the same decision. >> i'm not posting anything too extreme. >> reporter: here we have not received any response. she says while she can't walk through graduation, the school did tell her she will receive her diploma, that will allow her to attend san jose state in the fall. reporting live in san jose, marianne favro. a stanford student is apologizing tonight for a computer mistake. the incoming sophomore class president put together a snazzy page. he was shocked this week when the stanford daily informed him the private info of nearly 350 students in the match program was publicly accessible. the daily waited for the information to be removed before it published the story.

him. it hasn't rained in a while. so why was part of san jose's 280 freeway flooded? a pump stopped working. groundwater is always seeping up in this area. and there's a pump that runs continuously to keep the highway from flooding. it didn't work this time, causing major traffic problems. all lanes did reopen around noon. this is video from one of our nbc b nbc bay area employees that was shot a couple days ago showing a wet roadway. chp says they received no prior complaints about this area. the oakland city counsel has approved an exclusive agreement with the a's to study a possibility of building a new stadium at the site of the current coliseum. they are studying two possible sites, the coliseum and the howard terminal. a new ballpark can be ready for

the 2023 season. okay. some of the world's fastest cyclists pedalled through town. here's the finish line in downtown morgan hill. crews have started taking down the barricades and reopening the area. this was stage four. many riders were helped by technology from a local company. morgan hill's specialized bikes created this wind tunnel to help the racers train. >> especially today, technology plays a huge role and everyone here that's going to be competing in the wind has spent some time in a wind tunnel. >> think of this as the tour de france for the united states. all the foot traffic was a big boost for their bottom reason. it moves on to stockton for stage five. that's an awesome race to watch. >> and a 3.2 earthquake in

morgan hill to shake up the race. >> welcome to town. we had rainfall this morning. it's jostling us all around. it's like, okay, let's get back on track, but we see nothing in terms of at least quote-unquote average weather into tomorrow's forecast. i want to go ahead and put everything into perspective, and it's chilly out there, not extremely cold, but as we get a rook look at our averages, only 63 decrees, we should degrees. we should be at 74. most of the bay area five to ten degrees colder. in may we do get 80 and 90 degree temperatures, but so far, no 90s happening this year yet. and we don't see any chance of 90s, at reis fleast for the nex weeks. you have this weaker system. it's going to linger just enough

tomorrow to keep temperatures at least cool for parts of the bay area and a slight chance of sprinkles. bringing you into tomorrow's forecast, nothing heavy, but a chance of isolated drizzle. 57, few clouds for the south bay and 55. a slight chance for activity in san francisco and also for the north bay and temperatures in the low 50s. my hour by hour forecast shows us through tomorrow morning on that commute, it's nothing big, we have the clouds and an isolated chance as you can see. once we hit the afternoon we're setting ourselves up with sunny skies. going to be a really nice day. and temperatures will be warming a few degrees. it's going to be nice to bring us into low 70s. that's the biggest change as we head through tomorrow. still below average, 72 in gilroy. contra costa, alameda counties pushing back into the 70s.

nice day to be outside. 74 in antioch. 73 in danville, 60s from oakland towards fremont. right along the peninsula, 68 in redwood city, a little breezy, but the gustiest in san francisco. winds out of the west at 20 miles per hour. and right through marin and napa, 67 in mill valley, it will stay steady in san francisco over the next seven days with low 60s through the forecast and we'll be monitoring showers just to the north by next tuesday, haven't added anything in just yet. for cities away from the coastline, temperatures will start to warm up to 75 on saturday, but it is not a trend. we're back to low 70s by next sunday and monday. i maybe had two complaints out
